Bivouac Ciderworks, a craft cidery and full-service bar & restaurant, taproom, cafe and event space in NORTH PARK, is seeking back-of-house positions at various levels to join our KITCHEN TEAM.

Positions available $18 to $26 per hour (hourly plus tips), depending on role and experience. Full-time and part-time positions available. Accepting applications for entry level to management-level positions.

ABOUT OUR FOOD & KITCHEN:

At the taproom, our scratch-kitchen menu serves SAN DIEGO COMFORT FOOD that pairs well with cider. The menu is designed to be low-waste and efficient. We cater to a wide range of dietary restrictions without having a ton of modifications, because we serve straight-forward dishes with no hidden ingredients. We partner with local purveyors and use high-quality ingredients whenever possible. We draw inspiration from the flavors and cultures represented in San Diego and cider culture around the world. Our menu is fun, delicious and simple to execute.

Between our two location, we have a lot going on at Biv (in addition to making delicious craft cider distributed throughout southern California and Arizona): we have a full-service lunch & dinner restaurant and taproom, community space with coffee shop & cafe serving a small brunch menu and light lunch & dinner fare, curated cider tasting & pairings, a chef-driven zero-waste market and pantry (with pickling, fermentation, R&D), and many private events of all styles and sizes, from community events, birthday parties & baby showers, to corporate and non-profit events, to approachable and affordable weddings.

Our team is small but mighty. We want people who WANT TO BE HERE and have FUN, who like each other and their job, LOVE COOKING & FOOD (and cider!), and who understand our common vision and mission and want to grow personally and professionally. We value competence, credibility, reliability, and accountability.

“It’s not an opportunity unless you’re ready for it.”

If you have work ethic, drive, ambition, curiosity and a positive attitude, this company can offer you the opportunity to rise to the next level in any career path you choose. We’re building something really special, and we want you to be a part of it!

Base pay: $16.85-$22 per hour, depending on role, experience and capabilities.
