Bento & Noodles Eastlake is offering employment for Line Cook and Dishwasher Positions for our Japanese Restaurant. We are a family business that has operated for over 20 years in Chula Vista that offers delicious and affordable Japanese cuisine such as Bento Boxes, Ramen, Curry, and Sushi. We are looking for reliable and hardworking individuals that are comfortable working in the kitchen.
We are open from 11 am - 9 pm on weekdays, until 9:30 pm on Friday/Saturday.
We are offering Full Time Positions for Line Cook and Part Time Positions for Dishwasher.
Being able to work Weekend Shifts are preferred, but weekday shifts are available as well.
Dishwasher Shifts are also available, and you may apply for both positions.
Line Cook Responsibilities:
Grilling chicken and meats
Using Deep Fryer for fried entrees like Tempura, Chicken, Gyoza, Katsu, etc.
Food preparation and correct Portion control
Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen during the shift and at the end of shifts
Communicates with kitchen and front staff to ensure orders are made on time
Follows directions well and can handle a high-heat and busy environment
(Some kitchen experience is preferred, but we will provide paid training based on your skill level)
Dishwasher Responsibilities:
Loading and unloading washing machines
Collect used kitchenware / cups from kitchen hallway with a wheeled cart
Ensure that there are enough clean dishes, cups, utensils, especially during busy hours
Refill and clean soda machine syrup lines
Remove garbage regularly
Sanitize the kitchen area and floors
