Position Summary:

Leucadia Pizzeria is seeking a reliable and driven Back-of-House (BOH) Team Member who will be cross-trained in all kitchen stations. You will start as a Level 1 BOH Team Member, with the opportunity to advance up to Level 4 as you master each level, from food prep to pizza station, pasta station, salad station, and dish, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the quality and consistency our guests count on.

Key Responsibilities:

Cross-Training: Work efficiently across all BOH stations, including prep, pizza, fryer, pasta, salad/dessert, and dish.

Food Prep & Cooking: Follow recipes and portion standards to prepare high-quality dishes that meet Leucadia’s expectations.

Cleanliness & Safety: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen. Follow all health and food safety guidelines.

Team Support: Be flexible and assist where needed, especially during peak times or staff shortages.

Pace & Precision: Work quickly and accurately in a high-volume setting while staying cool under pressure.

Progression Focus: Show initiative and dependability to move up from Level 1 to Level 4 within the BOH structure.

BOH Level Structure:

Level 1: Entry-level; trained on one or two basic stations (e.g., dish, prep).

Level 2: Competent in three or more stations, reliable and efficient under supervision.

Level 3: Cross-trained on all major stations, supports training of new team members.

Level 4: Leadership-level BOH team member; strong in all stations and assists with quality control and shift leadership.

Progression is based on skill mastery, consistency, and leadership attitude, not just time served.

Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of kitchen experience is preferred, but we’ll train the right person.

Able to work multiple stations or willing to learn them quickly.

Positive team-player mindset and strong work ethic.

Food Handler’s Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
