This position is for someone who wants to WORK hard who pays attention to detail, is personable, punctual, reliable, and respectful. The idea candidate possesses basic knowledge of holistic health, superfoods and herbs.
The scope of the job is as follows: Assist the manager in weekly production in the commercial kitchen, fulfill online orders, run deliveries to stores, and help sell to the public at the weekly farmers’ markets. There may be increased duties as time goes on, such as inventory tracking, ordering, and other miscellaneous business related tasks.
Qualifications:
-must have reliable transportation (SUV/Truck/Van/Hatchback preferred)
-must live in North County San Diego (in between Del Mar up to Oceanside, and as far east as Escondido, is the ideal radius).
-must possess or be willing to obtain a food handlers permit.
-must be able to occasionally lift 20-50 lbs at a time, and be on your feet A LOT.
Days, Hours, & Responsibilities:
-Monday: 1-8pm in San Marcos
-Tuesday: 9-2 or 3pm in Escondido & Del Mar
-Wednesday: 3-8pm in Ocean Beach
-Saturday: 9-1pm in Poway
-Sunday: 10-2pm in Leucadia
Various events, festivals, and other pop up markets can be added in for extra hours.
This is an HOURLY job - starting at $22/hour, raised to $25/hour after 6 months of consistent work. This job is FOR someone who may want a career in the holistic health/superfood space. This job is an ideal gateway for someone who wants to limitlessly grow in this industry, with a fun brand, working with great people in a stellar community.
This job is NOT for a vagabond, a free spirit, someone who travels/leaves town a lot, someone who is not passionate about health & wellness, and someone who cannot take instruction or feedback well.
