HootWinc, LLC Management Company has been managing Hooters Restaurants in Southern California for nearly 20 years! We love to promote from within and we offer excellent advancement opportunities. First things first - we will train you in the ways of the owl! Your initial responsibility as an Assistant Manager will be to complete our dynamic and comprehensive Manager in Training Program which includes kitchen training and front-of-house training. Our program will ensure that you are prepared to manage all facets of the restaurant to which you are eventually assigned. You will learn how to oversee all areas of your restaurant while serving as a role model for your staff.

Key responsibilities of the Assistant Manager role include: Ensuring exceptional guest service and addressing customer concerns quickly and professionally if they ariseBuilding and driving restaurant salesInterviewing, hiring, and training employeesDeveloping your team members and fostering a team-oriented working environmentCoaching and counseling employees; taking appropriate corrective actions when neededWorking any and all work stations, whether front-of-house or in the kitchenMaintaining reports and records based on company standards and in full compliance with state and federal regulations, including food safety, product, and facility specs.

Job Requirements The ideal candidate for our Assistant Manager role will meet the following requirements:Local candidates preferredHigh School Diploma or equivalent certification required; Bachelor’s Degree a plus2 or more years of restaurant management experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPrevious responsibility for financial performance and ability to read profit and loss statementsProven ability to drive sales through creative marketing effortsDemonstrated track record of coaching and developing employees in a team-based environmentProven ability to drive guest satisfaction through customer-based metricsExcellent planning, organizing and follow-up skillsStrong decision making and conflict resolution skillsIntermediate computer skillsExperience with high-volume sales and full bar a plus!
