The focus of the role will be on developing novel Machine Learning based solutions for gaming applications and adapting traditional game AI techniques leveraging Snapdragon’s dedicated AI hardware. The position is cross functional working closely with multiple hardware, software, and product teams on a variety of different Snapdragon powered devices. Our highly creative teams are full of veteran game developers, artists, game engine experts and graphics enthusiasts who work on our latest GPU and gaming hardware innovations around mobile, PC, and XR.Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.ORMaster's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.ORPhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. 2+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C, Java, Python, etc.Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of professional experience
Comfortable working in large unfamiliar C/C codebases
Hands-on experience using Machine Learning frameworks - Tensorflow/Pytorch
Foundational knowledge of machine learning models and training
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated
Familiarity with Generative AI Model architectures
Experience with machine learning accelerators, optimizing algorithms for hardware acceleration cores using CUDA, OpenCL, DSPs and/or ML specific cores.
Familiar with modern PC/console game engine architectures
