Description:
This position will support the material movements between various shipyard facilities
Duties will include writing requisitions, release work packets, unloading delivery trucks, delivering material to the assigned locations, check inventory, update managers of any material damaged or missing, prepare material that needs to go to the warehouse and other assigned duties.
Manage all materials coming to the yard from Trident warehouse.
Manage all materials coming to the yard from NASSCO
Manage the backorders and material issues.
Manage returned material.
Maintain good housekeeping in the H-1 area.
Keep forklift in good working order.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum of 1-year experience working with computers and/or production setting
Computer skills and experience working with Microsoft Office programs a must (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
Forklift experience
Driving experience preferred
Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively within a team environment
Well organized, detailed self-starter
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking professional office
Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school or GED
