We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Staff Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for venture capital. This role involves financial analysis, portfolio management, and supporting investment decisions.
Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support investment decisions.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
Monitor and analyze portfolio company performance, providing insights and recommendations.
Collaborate with investment teams to evaluate potential investment opportunities.
Support due diligence processes, including financial statement analysis and market research.
Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Maintain and update financial databases and models.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree. 4+ years of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience.Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.Preferred Qua lifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field.
7+ years of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience.
2+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above).
2+ years of experience working in a large matrixed organization.
2+ years in a leadership role with or without direct reports.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Bloomberg, Airtable, Pitchbook).
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Knowledge of venture capital industry trends and best practices.
