Description Overview: Are you a detail-oriented financial professional with a knack for analysis and forecasting? Robert Half is currently seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our clients' financial decision-making processes by providing insightful analysis and recommendations. Join us and leverage your expertise to drive financial success.Responsibilities:

Analyze financial data and prepare detailed reports on financial performance, including variance analysis and trend identification.

Develop financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and long-term financial planning.

Conduct cost-benefit analysis and evaluate investment opportunities to provide strategic recommendations.

Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and presentations for management.

Monitor key financial metrics and provide actionable insights to support business decisions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial information for various projects.

Support the month-end and year-end close processes by preparing journal entries and reconciliations.

Stay informed about industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact financial performance.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required; CFA or CPA designation preferred.

2-4 years of experience in financial analysis or a related role.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling software; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all financial analysis and reporting activities.

Knowledge of GAAP and other relevant financial regulations.
