This is a fully grant-funded, position which is subject to renewal by 06/30/26.Developmental Specialist IJOB SUMMARY:Under general supervision, provides clinical services (screening, assessment, treatment planning, and/or intervention support) for children. Provides educational information to patients, parents and families regarding their child's developmental needs. Responds differentially to children based upon the child's age, understanding of the child's developmental level/abilities/disabilities, and cultural considerations. Serves as a liaison with community referral sources including physicians – offices and/or other treatment professionals to facilitate clinical and treatment options. Provides marketing and administrative support to program by producing flyers, handouts, and training materials and entering documentation into the computer database.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's Degree in related discipline6 months of experience in field related to area of specialtyBLS for Healthcare Providers, issued by AHAComputer skills sufficient to perform data entry, electronic charting, production of educational materials, and word processingValid California Driver's License and Auto Insurance (if applicable)PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Additional education beyond undergraduate degree related to area of specialtyBilingual English/SpanishDevelopmental Specialist IIJOB SUMMARY:Under general supervision, provides clinical services (screening, assessment, treatment planning, and/or intervention) for children.
