Description We are offering a unique opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in San Diego, California. This role involves a variety of administrative tasks, including answering phone calls, directing individuals, managing inventories, and handling correspondence. It is a contract to hire employment opportunity, ideal for someone with a strong background in Receptionist duties, Community Events, Event Correlation, Event Coordination, and Microsoft Outlook. Responsibilities: Answer and direct phone calls, facilitating smooth office communication. Provide assistance to individuals visiting the office, ensuring a welcoming environment. Manage inventories, ensuring all office supplies and equipment are adequately stocked. Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including UPS deliveries. Manage conference rooms bookings and coordinate with event owners for smooth operations. Assist in event management and coordination, ensuring successful execution of office events. Manage correspondence via email, ensuring timely response to all communications. Process parking validations, ensuring all office visitors have necessary access. Utilize Microsoft Outlook for calendar management, ensuring efficient scheduling. Assist in the training of individuals on the use of office products. Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and similar tools Experience with receptionist duties such as handling phone calls and greeting visitors Ability to assist in the organization and execution of community events Expertise in event correlation and coordination Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proven problem-solving skills and initiative Familiarity with office management systems and procedures Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with staff, clients, and the public.
