Description We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing all invoices received for payment and for undertaking the payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.Responsibilities:
Handle the processing and verification of invoices on a daily basis.
Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
Pay vendors; schedule and prepare checks; resolve invoice or payment discrepancies.
Maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable.
Strong attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Knowledge of accounting software.
Excellent communication, problem-solving and customer service skills.
