Non-profit Christian Preschool looking for a person who loves working with children, is a motivated self-starter who works well in a fast-paced environment, team player willing to set up playground, change diapers, wipe noses, set up nap rooms and assist with lunch. We are looking for an Assistant Teacher who loves working with 2–4-year-old children, is a motivated self-starter who works well in a fast-paced environment and is a team player.
Candidate must be flexible, work a minimum of 8 hours per day, work until 4:30 p.m. Must be able to stand long periods of time, lift, get on the floor, take directions.
Teachers are highly regarded at Northminster Preschool and our reputation is built on our teachers.
Requirements for this job: 12 Early Childcare credits. If enrolled in Early Childcare with 6 credits and planning to complete the other 6 please still apply. Fingerprint clearance, First Aid/CPR certified, Physical, TB clearance, updated MMR/Tdap, Mandated reporter training.
Starting wages will depend upon experience.

Pay: $20.00 - $20.50 per hour

We offer Paid Holidays (we follow the San Diego Unified District holiday and vacation schedule). HRA offered after 90 days of employment.
Requirements for this job:
A minimum of 12 ECE units or enrolled in Early Childcare with 6 credits with intention of enrolling in additional 6 credits (include transcripts in application please)
Fingerprint clearance
First Aid/CPR certified
TB clearance
Updated MMR/DTAP vaccines
Mandated reporter training
