Responsibilities:
- Teach English as a Second Language (ESL) to students of various ages and proficiency levels
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote language acquisition and cultural understanding
- Provide individualized instruction and support to meet the diverse needs of students
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and growth
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to coordinate curriculum and resources
- Utilize technology and multimedia tools to enhance learning experiences
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Certification in ESL or TESOL preferred
- Experience working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Strong classroom management skills and ability to create an engaging learning environment
- Experience in lesson planning, curriculum development, and assessment strategies
- Familiarity with library services to promote literacy and reading skills
