Part Time Driver: Laundry Delivery

The ideal candidate lives in Roseville, Rocklin, Orangevale, Carmichael, Folsom, North Sacramento, Arden Arcade or Rancho Cordova for easiest access to routes. Initial starting hours will be 8am to 12pm with growth opportunity to expand routes. Candidates will be provided with a week long on the job training.

Driver Job Duties

- Pick up and delivery laundry in the Greater Sacramento Area during the hours of 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday while utilizing the Company Issued iPad

- If laundry is not at the specific location, Driver is to confirm no delivery via Grasshopper call/text or in-person. If no response, driver is to knock on door, ring bell, etc. to determine if laundry service is wanted

- If the pick up is canceled without prior notice, Driver is to notify Mark and Emily via text

- Driver is to make best efforts to be within quoted route hours within 30 minutes. If route timeframe is insufficient, Driver is to notify owners ASAP who will advise

- Driver is to be courteous with customers and relay any information via text, phone or in person immediately to Owners who will use the information at solely their discretion

- Driver is responsible for loading, staging and organizing delivery route

- The delivery van is not your car and needs to be driven and maintained with the upmost care

- Maintain a clean van and use the Quick Quack membership at this once per week

- No smoking is permitted in the Company Owned van

- When instructed and only during working hours, Driver is take the van for routine oil changes and other minor maintenance including tires and brakes

- Driver is to notify Owners of any issues with van immediately

- Print out two tickets for each laundry bag as Launderers separate light and dark clothes for each bag

- Highlight any laundry instructions on each ticket

- If Customer requests Fragrance Free, the Driver is to stamp the ticket with the appropriate stamp

- Laundry not requiring next day completion is to be locked inside the front cage or another specific location indicated by launderers

- Although there may be a language barrier with other employees, Driver is to be courteous and manage to effectively communicate for specific orders and/or needs. Management recommends using Google Translate. Any disparaging, racist and/or sexual harassment will not be tolerated and will result in immediate termination.

- The Company van is not for personal use outside of working hours. Reasonable errands are permissible during working hours if they do not interfere with scheduling.

- Driver is entitled to a daily half hour (30 minute) lunch break for each five (5) hours of work. Driver must also take one (1) ten minute break after three and a half (3.5) hours of work or two (2) ten (10) minute break if Driver works six (6) or more hours in a work day. If Driver does not work more than six (6) hours in a work day, Driver can waive their lunch break.

Benefits: $20 per Hour

- Company paid Costco Membership. Driver must use own method of payment for personal purchases

- Partial mobile reimbursement available

- A reasonable amount of personal laundry can be done for free at Lola’s and/or Lollie’s not during work hours ideally not during busier times

- Driver is off once Daily Duties are complete regardless if before 5pm

- Within reason as determined by Owners, Driver can take child to work in the event of loss of childcare provider

- Streaming is available for Personal Use on the Company issued iPad during breaks

- 24 hours of Paid Sick Time per Year

- Driver is eligible for a Performance Bonuses for exceeding expectations, taking on mutually agreed additional duties and/or other criteria. Payment of Performance Bonuses is solely at the Owners’ discretion.
