WAGE SCALE: $26.00-$28.00

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Oversight of GPS system utilization to maximize efficiencies (ex: GPS reports, driver safety scores, etc.)
Monitor CSA performance and address specific violations with affected branches
Assist branches with programs to perform periodic vehicle inspections, preventive maintenance, DOT/BIT inspections, smoke testing, etc.
Assist in monitoring all aspects of DOT compliance (logbooks, hours of service, etc.)
Maintain vehicle and equipment information in CARB databases (DOORS, TRUCRS, CTC)
Stay up to date on regulatory changes and support improvement projects (ex: electrification, dash cams, etc.)
Assess driver tracking and development programs (training, driver fitness, driver ID, driving records, etc.)
Oversight of Contractor’s Equipment management (permitting, inspections, maintenance, GPS tracking, etc.)
Track and monitor permits and registrations (DOT certification statements, hazardous materials registrations, MCP #, etc.)
Understand and oversee trip permits, IRP, IFTA, dual state registration, etc.
Periodic reporting on fleet safety and compliance items
All other duties and responsibilities assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a fleet management role
Working knowledge of DOT and CARB regulations
Time-management and organizational skills
Computer proficiency
Valid driver's license
Excellent reading, comprehension, and communication skills
