Arcade Technician - training provided

Calling all joystick jockeys! Dream Arcades is on the hunt for a gaming geek to level-up our team of tech-minded misfits.

We are looking for someone that can build a computer, install an OS, and is highly competent.

Job Details:

Arcade Technicians work work in our office and warehouse. Prior experience with arcades is not required, as training is provided. This position involves assembly, quality testing, and building of arcades. We are looking for an individual that can, after receiving training, configure, troubleshoot, and pack arcades for shipment. This position is also responsible for assisting with everyday operations of building PC based arcades, and will also be required to use basic warehouse equipment such as: pallet jack, dolly, and strapping tools. After a training period, you will occasionally need to assist customers with technical support or sales related questions. There is opportunity for advancement to a support, or assembly supervisor.

Job duties and responsibilities include:

 Troubleshooting basic PC related technical issues

 Configuring PC's inside of arcades

 Quality Assurance for proper functionality as well as cosmetic damage

 Packing and preparing arcades for shipment

 Maintaining clean work areas throughout the warehouse

 Assisting customers with technical support and answering sales questions

 Frequently lifting 15 pounds, occasionally lifting of 35 pounds.

 Using basic tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, and cleaning supplies

 Attention to detail

 Ability to work independently as well as with others

 Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

 Basic PC skills

 Customer service

 Woodworking is a plus, but not required
