A well-established manufacturing company is seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our growing team. This position involves traveling throughout California to build and maintain strong customer relationships with both new and existing accounts in a thriving, high-demand industry.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies to grow business across your assigned territory.
Conduct in-person visits with feed stores, commercial facilities, distributors, and large-volume retail customers.
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the equestrian, livestock, or agricultural sectors.
Build long-term customer relationships by providing attentive service and product support.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely fulfillment and excellent customer satisfaction.
Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge.
Maintain accurate records of sales activity, customer feedback, and travel schedules.
Qualifications
3+ years of B2B outside sales experience, preferably in agriculture, animal care, feed supply, or similar industries.
Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Comfortable traveling frequently throughout California (up to 70% travel).
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
Preferred but Not Required
Experience selling to large retailers, distributors, or equestrian/livestock operations.
Familiarity with the needs of agricultural or animal-care customers.

We offer a competitive compensation package with flexibility depending on experience:
Option 1: Base salary with performance-based commission
Option 2: Straight salary with regular performance evaluations

Salary range is $60K - $80K
