Position Overview: Calling all Halloween lovers! Are you the go-to person for creating epic haunted house setups? Do you thrive on building jaw-dropping displays and fixing spooky gadgets? Spirit Halloween is looking for an enthusiastic Inter Store Experience Technician to help us make our stores the most exciting places to be this Halloween season. You'll be at the heart of the action, building and maintaining all the amazing structures, animatronics, and decor that make our stores come alive.
Key Responsibilities:
● Build the Magic: Assemble and install incredible store displays, including animatronics, props, and spooky decorations.
● Keep the Thrills Alive: Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on animatronics and other mechanical wonders to keep the scares going.
● Create the Ultimate Experience: Work with store management and your team to design and set up engaging and terrifyingly fun store layouts.
● Construct the Spooky: Use your light construction skills to build and repair displays and structures.
● Reach for the Scares: Safely use ladders and lift up to 40 lbs. to install and adjust displays.
● Solve the Puzzles: Tackle complex, puzzle-like problems to create and maintain interactive and visually stunning store environments.
● Light Up the Night: Perform minor electrical work to ensure animatronics and lighting systems are in perfect working order.
● Safety First: Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe and fun working environment.
Qualifications:
● High school diploma or equivalent.
● Previous experience in construction, carpentry, or a related field is a plus.
● Basic knowledge of electrical work and the ability to troubleshoot minor issues.
● Team player with strong communication skills.
● Creative problem-solver with a love for Halloween.
● Comfortable using ladders and lifting up to 40 lbs.
● Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
● Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends, during the Halloween season.
Desired Skills:
● Light construction and carpentry skills.
● Familiarity with using tools and equipment for building and maintaining displays.
● Experience with animatronics and mechanical systems.
● Ability to solve complex, puzzle-like problems.
● Good teamwork and communication skills.
