Folsom Medical Pharmacy, a thriving independent compounding pharmacy committed to delivering exceptional patient care and personalized service to our community, is expanding our team! We are seeking both a Pharmacy Technician and a Pharmacy Clerk to contribute to our mission of promoting health and wellness.
Pharmacy Technician
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting our pharmacists with daily operations and ensuring accurate and timely medication dispensing.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately enter prescription data into the pharmacy management system
Prepare and label prescription medications
Manage inventory and ordering supplies
Assist with the preparation of non-sterile compounds
Qualifications:
California Pharmacy Technician license (or ability to help obtain one within 90 days of hire)
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations
Pharmacy Clerk
As a Pharmacy Clerk, you will be the face of our pharmacy, providing excellent customer service and assisting with various tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers with their prescription needs
Process customer transactions and handle payments
Answer phone calls and email, and provide information
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Stock shelves and assist with inventory management
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a retail or customer service setting preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Basic math skills
