We are seeking a compassionate and organized Administrator to oversee daily operations and ensure the highest standards of care in compliance with California Department of Social Services regulations.

Job Summary:

The RCFE Administrator is responsible for managing all aspects of the facility’s operations, ensuring quality care for residents, regulatory compliance, and effective staff supervision. Reporting to the licensee, the Administrator will maintain a safe, supportive environment for elderly residents while fostering a collaborative team culture.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, including food services, resident care, medical appointments, and staff supervision.

-Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to California Department of Social Services regulations, facility policies, and budget requirements.

- Resident Care: Manage admissions, discharges, and resident services based on Pre-Admission Appraisals and Reappraisals, prioritizing residents’ physical and mental well-being.

- Staff Leadership: Train and supervise qualified staff, addressing performance issues and fostering professional development.

- Reporting: Prepare and submit Special Incident Reports within mandated timeframes and communicate operational updates to the licensee.

- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to urgent situations, ensuring resident safety and compliance with protocols.

- Confidentiality: Maintain compliance with HIPAA and handle sensitive information with discretion.

- Organization: Develop administrative plans, manage equitable workloads, and ensure clear lines of responsibility.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field (preferred); Associate’s degree considered with relevant experience.

- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an RCFE Administrator or in a similar role in assisted living or healthcare management.

- Certification: Valid RCFE Administrator Certificate (required).

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- High stress tolerance and adaptability in a dynamic environment.

- Proficiency in managing budgets and regulatory compliance.

- Availability: Ability to work Monday to Friday, with flexibility for 8-hour or 12-hour shifts and emergency response.
