Overview of Account Manager/Client Advocate Role – Level I

As an Account Manager reporting directly to the Office Manager, you will be pivotal in managing our clients' financial accounts. Your responsibilities will include creating monthly budgets to help clients maintain stable living conditions and managing account accuracy and compliance with Social Security Administration regulations. You'll also engage directly with clients and collaborate on solving payment issues and improving service efficiency. This role demands a high level of organizational skills, as it involves juggling multiple responsibilities and managing numerous projects simultaneously.

Time Commitment

Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Location

Sacramento, CA – This role is fully onsite.

Status

This is a non-exempt, hourly position as a W2 employee. You must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities: What You'll Do

1. Client Services and Support

· Work directly with clients in person and over the phone to develop personal budget plans.

· Connect clients with external referrals for housing, social services, and medical care.

· Manage client accounts using our Client Account Management database to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.

2. Financial Management

· Process transactions including requests and address payment issues.

· Manage monthly reporting on client expenditures for the Social Security Administration.

· Collaborate on account reconciliation and resolving outstanding financial issues.

3. Operations and Teamwork

· Run reports and analyze data to make necessary adjustments to client accounts and track reporting to appropriate agencies.

· Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and enhance service delivery.

· Maintain strong vendor relationships and handle sensitive information professionally.

You have

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in social services, account management, or a related field.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and database management.
