As the front lines of our community education department, you will have the opportunity to build positive relationships with Safetyville’s visitors, partners, and supporters, and suggest improvements to Safetyville that could enhance our programs.
Safetyville is a Sacramento-based, community education program of Safety Center Incorporated, a nonprofit organization founded in 1934. We accomplish our mission of reducing injuries and saving lives by promoting lifelong safety and health through a variety of community and professional programs.
-Customer Service Experience
-Likes working around children
-Cash/Card Handling Experience
-Ability to commit to weekends for majority of the year (we can cover weddings, birthday parties & milestone events – but we aren’t looking for someone who needs 1 weekend off every month)
-Ability to work outside and lift 25lbs on occasion
Typical Tasks will include:
Unlocking Safetyville Grounds
Disarming Alarms
Greeting Customers
Collecting Payments for add-ons or balances
Executing Treasure Hunts as requested
Basic Clerical Work
Oversight of basic rule enforcement by all patrons
“Flipping” of Party Space when more than booking is happening each day
Securing Safetyville Grounds
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
