REMOTE LEGAL ASSISTANT POSITION
Small law office is looking for a legal assistant for approximately the next 6 weeks but the right candidate may be offered full-time position.
Assist 2-3 attorneys with calendar, drafting motions, completing forms and drafting correspondence.
Will provide training in our case management software but expected to have experience in the following areas.
$18-$25/hr Pay depends on experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities
Answer phones, client intake, client follow up, and drafting client correspondence.
Assist attorneys in various ways including filing legal motions, pleadings and discovery.
Required Skills
Prior law office experience required. The more experience in employment law, personal injury or civil litigation the better. Be expected to know California filing deadlines.
