A reputable solo law firm in Roseville California is seeking a dedicated and experienced contract attorney to join our team. The position is full remote, but we still prefer a candidate that lives local to Sacramento, the Bay Area, or Northern California.
Real estate and business legal experience preferred. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in civil litigation. Strong people skills are required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials. - Occasional court appearances and depositions. - Assist attorneys in trial preparation and court proceedings. - Attend or sit 2nd chair for jury and bench trials. - Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1 years of legal experience in civil litigation, of any type. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Our hourly "contract rate" pay is very competitive. Lots of work available. This would be a great opportunity for someone starting their own practice and looking to supplement their income.
