EXPO, SUSHI CHEF and/or LINE COOK who is dedicated, energetic, hardworking and reliable. We are seeking an individual who is willing to work hard, fast and have an attention to detail with solid fundamentals for a high volume Japanese Restaurant.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent Communication Skills
- 1+ years experience on the hot line or RECENT Culinary Trained (Certified) Grad or Intern
- Servsafe certification
- Ability to multi-task and work at a fast pace
- Knife skills
- Plating/presentation skills
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment
- Leadership qualities
JOB TASKS:
- Must have flexible schedule/ available to work 32-40 hours/week for lunch, dinner, weekend and holiday shifts
- Strong emphasis on grill station work/meat temps
- Station prep/ cleanliness
- Focus on continual learning for improvement/advancement
- Focus on working as a team
- Provide excellent customer service
- Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment
