Bachelor's: Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or Healthcare Administration or related field
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
8 years recent relevant experience
Cost analysis experience preferred
Project Analysis experience preferred
Experience with EPSi (Enterprise Performance Systems Inc.)
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Working in a large company with diverse operations in the healthcare and insurance industries is highly desired.
Managerial accounting and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles used in the preparation of financial statements. (Certified Management Accountant, CPA and MBA preferred)
Accounting systems (including accounts payable and payroll), internal controls, financial forecasting, and budgeting.
Good understanding of not-for-profit accounting and tax issues.
Written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills.
Work with all levels of staff and management to translate complex financial accounting issues to non-financial customers.
Handle shifting priorities and direct multiple projects while consistently meeting established deadlines.
Work autonomously with minimal supervision and have a commitment to continuous quality improvement.
Advanced skills with database management, file management, spreadsheet applications, and word processing applications. (Knowledge in SQL and Power Query is desirable)
Leadership skills to make an appropriate contribution and give direction to issues, work groups, and task forces.
Process a large amount of information in a short period of time and have the confidence to make informed decisions.
Deal appropriately with confidential information.
