We are seeking a Director, Client Development – Strategic Client Accounts, who will be instrumental in growing revenue within one of our most premier strategic client accounts. Through new business development, account management and expansion of existing client relationships, you will play a pivotal role in diversification and revenue growth with this client. As a Director, Client Development – Strategic Client Accounts, you will be part of a dedicated team that fuels growth and delivers this expertise, providing exemplary client service as you develop and maintain comprehensive, long term, sustainable and strategic client relationships.
Accountability for the sales activity for a defined portfolio of clients business and the cross-functional collaboration with internal partnerships that drive the revenue results
Developing and implementing tactical sales plans to achieve portfolio revenue goals and objectives
Conducting account planning and proactively bringing innovative ideas and approaches to the account strategy
Owns and drives key strategic pursuits, leveraging the full range of RGP resources, as appropriate
Develops and maintains effective relationships and communicates effectively with key client leaders and staff to drive account penetration and sales growthContinually develops new client opportunities by pursuing and expanding account and solution diversification
Serves as the client’s expert on the RGP business model, risk management, the client specific value-proposition and business impacts
Fosters cross-functional collaboration to deliver the best of RGP to clients and drive continuous improvement in the services and solutions RGP brings to the marketplace
Executes and delivers against established KPIs and performance metrics
Supports integration of enterprise and cross-functional initiatives across account portfolio and Strategic Client Accounts, including account planning, forecasting, budgeting, and best practices related to sales process
Contributes to RGP’s commitment to continuous improvement by sharing account-related case studies, thought leadership, and relevant and impactful market trends
Bachelor's Degree from a four-year accredited institution preferred or relevant equivalent experience
7+ yrs experience with business development experience with Fortune 500 organizations
Excels in driving results, communicating effectively, problem solving, and customer focus
Ability to think creatively with strong business acumen
A client management approach that exemplifies a strong sense of urgency, a drive to perform at the highest level, and a collaborative spirit
Detail oriented with a strong capacity for account management and planning; harnesses technology to produce strong sales results
An entrepreneurial spirit derived from experience building and/or transforming a business
Advanced skills in business development, sales effectiveness, strategic partnerships, account management, and presentation skills
Proven experience selling professional services within large, global accounts preferred
Strong capacity for networking and generating lasting business relationships
Experience within a fast paced, global technology driven environment
Base Pay Range:$115,200 - $144,000
Other Compensation: Incentive Compensation
All Compensation is commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market and operational factors.
