Director, Consumer Analytics

Organization:SHSO-Sutter Health System Office-BayPosition Overview:Leads the development of consumer analytics practices through actionable strategies to supply insights from various consumer insights platform, principally the patient experience channel. Engage in proactive analysis, living in the data in a way that facilitates a unique understanding of patterns and trends. Refine dashboard and reporting design, analysis, data visualization, and advanced statistical analysis. Identifies and implements new, emerging analytics techniques. Designs insights rich reports, ensuring efficient and professional execution to supply timely recommendations to improve the patient journey. Collaborates with colleagues across Sutter Health to plan, align, budget, design, and implement a company-wide consumer analytics function in support of Sutter Health's mission, goals, strategies, and objectives.Job Description :The person selected for this role has the opportunity to work from home and must be available to come on site as needed for meetings, etc.Candidate selected must live in one of the following Sutter Health approved states:Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, UtahEDUCATION:Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.Bachelor's: Health Care Administration, Computer Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related fieldTYPICAL EXPERIENCE:10-12 years recent relevant experience.SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:Expertise with data analysis, visualization, discerning deep meaning from data sets, connecting the dots, and story telling through the data.Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with consumer division colleagues, and other executive team members across the system.Advanced knowledge of healthcare operations and patient journey work.Solid knowledge of data analytics concepts and strategies.Proficiency and deep experience with Tableau report design and analysis.Working knowledge of developing and administering executive reporting systems.Verbal and writing skills to effectively communicate with diverse groups such as: executives, managers, and subject matter experts.Set priorities which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities and prioritize assignments to complete work in a timely manner.Analyze information, problems, situations, practices, or procedures in order to identify relevant concerns and factors.Perform a variety of duties and often change from one task to another of a different nature with frequent interruptions and/or distractions.Skilled in developing documentation at a technical and user level.Job Shift :DaysSchedule :Full TimeShift Hours:8Days of the Week:Monday - FridayWeekend Requirements:NoneBenefits:YesUnions:NoThis position is work from home eligible.Position Status:ExemptWeekly Hours:40Employee Status:RegularNumber of Openings:1Sutter Health is an equal opportunity employer EOE/M/F/Disability/Veterans.Pay Range is $91.56 to $146.49 / hour. Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas Pay Range is $73.25 to $117.20 / hour. Arizona, Arkansas, Idaho, Louisiana, Missouri, Montana, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah Pay Range is $65.92 to $105.48 / hour.The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
