Efficiency First California is a non-profit trade organization representing clean energy contractors statewide. We are seeking a Customer Service Specialist to help support our team members.
This job is a remote position with a flexible schedule. Most of your work will be from home or our Sonoma office if you prefer.
We are looking for a team player with a great attitude who appreciates the flexibility of remote working but can still produce and meet deadlines. The right candidate will be an organized, responsible, self-starter with a "can-do" attitude. Customer service experience is required. Software customer support related experience would be helpful. Attitude is everything.

Effective outside an office. It is a remote position. The work environment is Mac-based. We can help with technology
Required skills:
Customer Service - Must be a “people person” who is patient and helpful
Computer Skills - You must be comfortable with technology. You will spend lots of time on a computer, basic troubleshooting skills would be helpful.
Solid grasp of digital tools. Dropbox, Google G-suite, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Video conferencing tools. Customer service ticketing solution experience is a bonus
Eager to Learn - You will be learning new things every day
Willing to Change - We work in a fast-paced environment that is changing rapidly
You must have some residential construction/contracting knowledge. You will need to communicate effectively with contractors
Bonus skills:
Writing - Ability to produce and edit monthly newsletters and other technical documents
Utility rebate program management is a plus
Technology customer service experience is a plus
Easy access to Sacramento is a bonus
