Pachamama Coffee is a California-based roaster and retailer of specialty coffee owned by thousands of family farmers in Latin America and Africa. Location: El Dorado Hills, CA

Position: Part Time, In Person. 15-20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, mornings.

Job Description:

As a customer service specialist, you will be at the forefront of our customer engagement efforts, providing exceptional service and support for our online sales and coffee subscription service. This role requires a dynamic, empathetic communicator committed to fostering strong customer relationships through thoughtful and efficient interaction.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent. Associate or Bachelors preferred.

- One year experience in customer service operations.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Intermediate to advanced proficiency of Windows OS required. Intermediate to advanced proficiency of Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive), UPS Worldship and Shopify preferred.

-Excellent time management and organizational skills and ability to multitask.

-Demonstrated strong work ethic and reliability.

Responsibilities:

- Provides customer support and administrative assistance to enhance service delivery.

- Serves as primary liaison for Pachamama’s online sales and subscription coffee service.

- Inputs and updates information in administrative and spreadsheets.

- Efficiently manage customer data and order processing on a Shopify-based e-commerce platform.

- Maintain and troubleshoot office and shipping equipment in coordination with operations support staff.

- Handles phone inquiries and directs callers to appropriate teams and staff members.

- Welcomes visitors and handles incoming mail.

- Upholds Pachamama Coffee’s professional image and delivers exceptional customer service.

This is a 15-20 hour per week position with growth potential, based in the El Dorado Hills roasting and fulfillment facility with occasional duties at the midtown Sacramento administrative office. Potential growth opportunities in DTC and wholesale operations. You will be working in a certified organic food manufacturing facility, adhering to strict sanitary and hygiene requirements.
