Description Lisa Cole with Robert Half is partnering with a fast-growing company that is hiring for a Senior Accounts Payable and Receivable Specialist to join the team. To succeed in this role, you will need to match, batch and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. The opening for a permanent position that is hybrid for a local Sacramento candidate but can be remote for a candidate that does not live in the Sacramento area. Accurately process accounts payable invoices in a timely manner.
Verify and reconcile vendor invoices, purchase orders, and receipts.
Manage and streamline vendor and customer onboarding processes.
Prepare and submit payments to vendors, ensuring compliance with payment terms.
Assist in managing accounts receivable, including invoicing and collections.
Reconcile customer accounts and address billing inquiries.
Maintain precise and up-to-date financial records.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve payment and billing issues.
Support Expense Report and Reimbursement processes as needed.
Contribute to expansion efforts and infrastructure build into new locations.
Manage special projects, providing ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
Requirements
Requirements:
3+ years of recent AP / AR processing
Knowledge of accounting principles.
Advanced Excel skills to manage large volumes of data.
Thrives in a fast-paced environment to be able to implement new processes and procedures.
