Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Specialist to play a crucial role in our operational activities, specifically in the shipping and configuration of equipment. This position involves ensuring that our products are shipped efficiently and configured to meet the required specifications, contributing to our commitment to excellence in customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Prepare equipment for shipping by ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
Configure products based on customer specifications before dispatch.
Collaborate with the logistics team to coordinate shipping schedules and ensure timely deliveries.
Conduct quality checks on configured equipment to meet industry standards.
Provide technical support to the shipping team during the loading and unloading of equipment.
Troubleshoot and address any configuration issues to ensure product functionality.
Office Duties
Maintain accurate records of shipped products, configurations, and inventory.
Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners to optimize shipping processes.
Generate shipping documentation, including packing lists and invoices.
Assist in data entry and administrative tasks related to shipping and inventory management.
Communicate effectively with different departments to coordinate shipping activities.
Support management in various tasks to ensure overall operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Proven experience in shipping and configuring equipment.
Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with logistics and shipping processes.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in a manufacturing setting.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
Vocational or technical certification in a relevant field is a plus.
Previous experience in equipment configuration and shipping within a manufacturing or similar environment is preferred.
