Description:Sr. Data Engineer will support the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and all systems that integrate with it. The primary goal is to collect, manage, and convert raw data into usable information for data scientists and business analysts to interpret.As a Data Engineer you will be responsible for the following: Data Services Architecture o BI Kimball Dimensional Modelo Single Source Reporting Architecture (Client + Ops)o Master Data Management Adhering to professional development standards Participate in mandatory solution reviews Support integration with the following systems: o Mainframe Integration Strategyo SQL Server Integration Strategyo Oracle Integration Strategyo Azure Cloud Integration Strategyo 3rd Party Cloud Integration Strategyo SharePoint Integration Strategyo File Integration Strategy Support change control and all Change Advisory Board (CAB) related processes Support for all departments within Data Services: Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing and Advanced Analytics Organized and strong documentation skills are a requirement for any person working in Data Services Support and promote Data Governance A true team member within the Agile framework o Communicates when blocks ariseo Accountable for all work completed or not completedo Active contributor in Data Services Agile Delivery Team EDW Knowledge Base contributor for EDW Systems, EDW Sources, EDW Reports, EDW Report Components, EDW Report Calendar.Requirements Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related fields 7+ years experience in data centric technology groups such as Data Services, Business Intelligence or Data Warehousing. 7+ years of experience working with the full SQL BI stack: SSIS, SSAS, SSRS 4+ years experience working with BI focused reporting tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Domo, etc. Experience with MS 365 and additional MS Products o Microsoft AzDo (Dev Ops)o MS 365 / SharePoint Advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Power Platform o Power Appso Power Automateo Power Queryo PowerBI Strong understanding of data structures, security, performance, optimization and usability. Strong understanding of star schema and Kimball Dimensional ModelingAdditional Details:
