Job DescriptionJoin the Clean Energy RevolutionBecome a Business Transformation Senior Advisor at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you’ll provide strategic leadership in enabling Customer Grid Edge (CGE) / Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) 2.0 business process transformation across the Enterprise through advanced measurement, communications, and analytics systems. The CGE initiative is ground-breaking at an industry-wide scale and will culminate in a multi-billion-dollar capital investment. The Senior Advisor focuses on leading and coordinating identification and collection of business process opportunities throughout the CGE solution portfolio. Responsible for current-state and future state process mapping, socialization and approval processes, including aligning strategy with interdependent initiatives and workstreams (e.g. Grid Modernization, NextGen, etc.) to identify/remove duplications/inconsistencies and identify/capture synergies.As a Senior Advisor , your work will help power our planet, reduce carbon emissions and create cleaner air for everyone. Ensures effective business readiness strategies and plans by driving adoption, utilization, and proficiency for technology solutions.· Leads business readiness activities for deployment of CGE solutions in ASP, T&D, Customer Service and/or any other affected organization. Proactively mitigates obstacles and barriers that may interfere with implementation.· Coordinates user readiness activities to ensure end users have appropriate hardware, software, system access, concierge services and proper training prior to deployment.· Collaborates with and support Organizational Change Management, Training, and project teams in the development and implementation, Strategy, Communication Plan, communication messages, Change Agent Networks and Training Plan).Develops effective communication materials for a variety of audiences (e.g., Field Crews, District personnel, Engineers, Project Managers, Management).QualificationsThe essentials· Ten or more years of experience implementing change initiatives or projects with high visibility including maintaining scope, resources, and overseeing the tracking and reporting of project performance· Experience developing effective communication materials for a variety of audiencesThe preferred· Change Management Certification (Prosci)· Project Management Certification· Experience with large-scale technical organizational change efforts.· Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges within a large electric utility company.· Three or more years of experience in applying structured change management processes and tools to promote end user adoption and realization of project benefits· Strong oral and written communication/presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate data, context, and implications to a wide variety of stakeholders including executives.You should know· This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California.
