Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist based in Placentia, California. The role primarily focuses on managing accounts receivable functions, handling collections, and assisting with accounts payable tasks. The position calls for a detail oriented who can efficiently manage large quantities of data and customer interactions within the telecom industry.Responsibilities: Manage accounts receivable functions including invoicing and payment processing Handle collections for a diverse range of customers, maintaining a relationship-based approach Provide backup support for payroll processing when necessary Oversee preliminary paperwork, lien releases, and conditional/unconditional lien waivers for projects Collaborate with the sales team to address customer needs and facilitate payment processes Use Epicor Prophet 21 software for various tasks related to accounts receivable Process and manage B2B collections and cash applications Manage vendor relationships effectively Ensure accurate invoice processing and maintain accurate customer credit records Handle lien waivers with professionalism and efficiency. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or similar role Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) Demonstrated experience in B2B collections Knowledge of Cash Applications Experience with Epicor software Familiarity with Invoice Processing Experience with Lien Waivers Proven ability to Manage Vendor Relationships Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
