Description We are looking for a diligent Financial Analyst - Entry Level in Palo Alto, California. The individual will be involved in validating billing information from various sources, consolidating this data, and uploading it to Oracle ERP using web-based tools. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity in the telecommunications sector.Responsibilities: Validate billing information obtained from diverse sources to ensure accuracy and completeness Consolidate validated data into predefined Excel templates Utilize web-based tools to efficiently upload consolidated data into Oracle ERP Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless integration of billing information into the ERP system Maintain thorough documentation of validation processes and data entry activities Proactively identify and communicate any discrepancies or issues encountered during validation and data entry Use Microsoft Excel for data consolidation and manipulation Display strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks Show ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage workload in a fast-paced environment Exhibit excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing issues Leverage prior experience in billing or finance-related roles (if any) to contribute to the efficient management of billing information within the organization while gaining valuable experience in ERP data entry processes.Requirements Must hold a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field A minimum of 2 years of experience in a financial analysis position Proficiency in billing and billing functions Expertise in using financial software such as Oracle Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, vlookup, and macros Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Excellent problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines Knowledge of financial regulations and standards.
