Financial Analyst

Description We are offering an engaging opportunity for a Financial Analyst - Entry Level position based in Palo Alto, California, United States. This role is within the telecom provider industry and is centered around deals management and financial analysis. The position offers a short term contract employment opportunity, with key responsibilities including providing enablement tools for finance, sales, operations, and legal, creating quotes, and analyzing enterprise risk.Responsibilities: Serve as a project Subject Matter Expert (SME) in providing additional Enablement tools for finance, sales, operations, and legal to resolve complex contract amendments and conflicting discount thresholds. Utilize Salesforce CPQ to create quotes and customize orders for renewal opportunities. Submit orders for renewal opportunities efficiently and accurately. Update data migration sheets regularly to address all project-specific errors. Analyze enterprise risk through renewal opportunity management, ensuring all out-of-policy advertising transactions obtain necessary executive approvals. Maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications. Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments. Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and report generation.Requirements Applicant must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory. Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required. Ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner. Must have experience in financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis. Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market and business environments. Proficiency in financial software and systems. Strong presentation, reporting and leadership skills. Ability to strategize and solve problems. Strong writing and record keeping ability for reports and budgets. Ability to work with large amounts of data, to interpret financial records, spot trends and create financial reports. A thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is essential. Must have the ability to handle confidential information. Excellent attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills and proven team player with demonstrated ability to lead a team. Ability to work under pressure, plan personal workload effectively and delegate.
