Private Investment Firm in Newport Beach seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our commercial properties. You will perform various maintenance tasks, repairs, and inspections to maintain the safety, functionality, and aesthetics of our facilities. This role requires a combination of technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

Conduct routine inspections of commercial properties to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.

Perform preventive maintenance tasks, such as HVAC system checks, plumbing inspections, and electrical system assessments.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests and address issues promptly to minimize downtime and disruptions.

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems as needed.

Perform general carpentry, painting, and drywall repairs to maintain the appearance of the property.

Inspect and maintain exterior areas, including parking lots, sidewalks, and landscaping features.

Assist with the coordination of subcontractors and vendors for specialized repairs or installations.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to create a safe working environment for staff and tenants.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in a relevant field preferred.

Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a commercial or multi-unit residential setting.

Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical components.

Proficiency in using hand and power tools to perform repairs and maintenance tasks.

Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to solve complex problems efficiently.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with tenants, contractors, and team members.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks effectively.

Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and be on-call for emergencies as needed.
