Position Overview:
We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Solar Sales Superstar to spearhead our solar energy sales efforts. As a Solar Sales Superstar, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving sales growth in the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the commercial and residential solar markets.
- Cultivate relationships with potential clients, understanding their energy needs and presenting tailored solar solutions.
- Conduct detailed consultations and site assessments to educate clients on the benefits of solar energy.
- Develop and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and quotes.
- Collaborate closely with our engineering and project management teams to ensure accurate and compelling proposals.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales, achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Maintain a robust pipeline of leads and opportunities through effective prospecting and networking.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to inform sales strategies.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process and beyond installation.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in solar or renewable energy sales, meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of solar photovoltaic systems, financing options, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a compelling manner.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a passion for sustainability and clean energy solutions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive sales environment.
- Proficiency with CRM software and sales tools to manage leads and track progress.
Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to travel within the designated sales territory.
- Knowledge of local incentives, rebates, and financing options for solar installations is a plus.

Position: Solar Sales Superstar
Location: Inside a major retailer
Compensation: Earn commission (typically $5,000-$8,000 per install)
Hours: Flexible hours available Monday-Saturday from 6:00am to 9:00pm, and Sundays from 7:00am to 8:00pm
Responsibilities:
- Approach customers in-store and door to door to educate them about solar energy solutions.
- Schedule appointments for our solar sales closers based on customer interest.
- Maintain records of appointments and customer interactions.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sales experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
