A position is available for a full-time (will start as part-time) Executive Assistant to the CEO at our company. The position may become full time, depending on mutual agreement. Compensation will be discussed at interview and is dependent on the motivation and how well the individual follows instructions. If you become full-time, the position will also include benefits such as, health insurance, paid time off, and vacation pay.
The Executive Assistant will report directly to CEO. This position is as an Executive / Personal Assistant who will be working within every aspect of the business alongside the CEO. The company is in the Oil & Gas Sector and is publicly traded; Key areas of work will be focused on resourcefulness, accountability, and dependability. Quick thinking is a must. You will also be dealing with Government officials and must understand the nuances of interacting at a Government level. Having the ability to speak Spanish and/or other languages (such as Mandarin, Russian, Italian &/or French) would be a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing short and long term projects;
- Scheduling (planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, travel etc.);
- Screening phone calls, emails, mail and clients; route and resolve information requests;
- Ability to act independently within established guidelines, maintain confidential information and materials, exercise judgment, tact and diplomacy;
- Aiding in the completion of all tasks, and assignments within the responsibility of the Executive Organizing and planning events both personal & business related;
- Participate in special projects and performs other duties, as assigned;
- Coordinate calendars for both personal and professional agendas;
- Assist with errands and special projects as assigned;
- Troubleshoot issues as needed;
- Answer Phone calls from, interact with and appropriately handles issues with traders, government officials, lobbyists, the FBI, DHS, DOD, Coast Guard and large oil companies & refineries.

The Ideal Candidate will have:
- Minimum of three years of progressively responsible office or business management experience;
- Effective verbal, written, and presentation skills (required);
- Proficient in personal computers skills;
This position also requires effectively managing ongoing change, being resourceful and requiring effective problem solving and follow through skills
