Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Utilize knowledge of IPC-610 to ensure completed PCB Assemblies meet industry standards for Class 2 and 3.
Read and review assembly drawings with particular attention to customer notes
Adhere to all ESD and Board Handling requirements
Keep a Log of findings of out of tolerance parts; route defects for rework to the appropriate department.
Perform other duties, including Incoming Inspection and RMA screening, as assigned.
Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to understand electronic manufacturing procedures and steps.
Knowledge and experience with IPC-A-610. Ability to take and pass online certification test.
Knowledge of Cable Assemblies is a plus (IPC/WHMA-A-620)
Must be able to perform visual inspection on solder joints and other items on circuit boards under magnification.
Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines
Knowledge of inspection equipment ie, magnifying lamps, Mantis stereo scope, micrometer, Digital Multimeter.
