KPG Has partnerred with a thirving manufacturing company in Huntington Beach, CA. Our client is seeking a skilled Quality Inspection Technician for a Direct Hire Opportunity. While primarily focused on inspection duties, this role also involves model assembly and requires a strong understanding of mechanical principles and manufacturing processes. Shift: 1st (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM)
Pay: $34- $37 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
-Conduct precision mechanical inspections on complex contours and model assemblies.
-Interpret mechanical designs and customer requirements to ensure compliance.
-Collaborate proactively with various departments to enhance product quality and optimize costs.
Requirements:
-High School diploma or equivalent.
-Minimum 5 years of experience in precision mechanical inspection within a manufacturing environment.
-Proficiency in mathematics and computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
-Experience with mechanical inspection tools and ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications using ASME Y 14.5.
-Proficiency with Verisurf 2020 or newer software.
Preferred Skills:
-Experience in aerospace quality inspection and AS9100 standards.
-Familiarity with PC-DMIS software and CMM programming.
-Background in toolmaking, jig/fixture building, and welding inspection.
-In-depth knowledge of coordinate systems.
