Job Description:
Packaging and production of products which includes:
o Hand rolling bliss balls and/ or running a machine
o Prep ingredients.
o Operation of mixing/grinding equipment, e.g. food processors/ hobart mixers
o Will show proficient understanding of all tasks and capable of performing
tasks with ease (after appropriate training).
o Must be comfortable working with your hands to do many detailed tasks.
o Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized after
each shift.
o Will be required to take a food handler test (ServSafe) as strong
knowledge of proper food handling procedures is required.
o Must be comfortable being on your feet for 8 hours at a time.
o Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
o Must be comfortable working in a team environment e.g communicative,
self-motivated.
Qualifications:
o Good personal hygiene and cleanliness required.
o Able to read and follow recipes proficiently.
o Ability to use scales + measure ingredients accurately.
o Must be able to do basic math calculations (addition, multiplication).
o Must feel comfortable in using a knife to cut cakes and fresh produce.
o Able to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen atmosphere.
o Positive attitude and self-motivated a must.
o Detail Oriented and communication skills highly encouraged.
o Flexible with the ebb and flow of seasonal consumer demand.
o Prior work experience in kitchen/manufacturing is a plus but not required.
Must be available at least 30-35 hours per week.
Kitchen hours: 8:30AM-5:00PM (will be scheduled some time in between that
time frame or for that whole shift).
First 90 days are a probationary period to ensure that this is a good fit for both
parties.
