We're looking for a graphic artist who is enthusiastic about their work as well as skilled in their profession, who has experience with pre-press and large format digital printers.
Everything Hot Shoppe Designs makes is made in-house in San Clemente. From concept to garment, we can design a shirt at 10:00 a.m., and have the finished product in your hands at 3 p.m. No tech packs, no offshore vendors, just collaboration and teamwork to make the newest and freshest apparel possible.
We have over 40 years of providing custom apparel to the action sports community, from designing and producing the 2020 and 2024 Olympic BMX uniforms, the 2020 Olympic Surf Team's uniforms and 2024 SuperCross teams. Come be a part of building design identities for some of the biggest names in the action sports industry.
Productivity and the ability to set priorities is key to this position, as you will be setting up (nesting) artwork files for custom apparel.
Primary Duties:
Building vector-based artwork files for custom jobs.
Provide design mock-ups to email customers for approval.
Pre-Production: Nesting pattern pieces for multiple sizes and different style garments.
Build any other artwork files to help support the product line.
Some photo editing and digital asset creation to support marketing, web experience is a plus.
Job Requirements:
Must live in Orange County or North San Diego County with reliable transportation, no remote work.
40 Hour a Week Commitment.
Very strong Adobe Illustrator experience.
Adobe Photoshop
Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
Hot Shoppe Designs is a collaborative environment, being able to work as a team and to take direction is important.
Experience within the action sports market is a big plus, but it's not a requirement.
Casual, rural office environment in San Clemente, bike trails right across the street, the beach is a 10-minute drive. Paid holidays, flexible work schedule. This is a in-house position. No freelance or remote work will be considered.
