Sierra Corporate Management, Inc. is a leading real estate firm specializing in apartment and mobilehome property management. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our small and dynamic legal team.

Position Overview:

The Paralegal will play a crucial role in supporting the General Counsel with Unlawful Detainer matters and the day-to-day legal operations of our real estate business. This position requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of real estate law and legal procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist General Counsel in handling Unlawful Detainer cases, including preparing and filing necessary legal documents.

- Assist in high volume court filings

- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to support legal proceedings.

- Draft, review, and manage a variety of legal documents, including leases, contracts, and correspondence.

- Maintain organized and up-to-date client files and case records.

- Coordinate and communicate with tenants, property managers, and other stakeholders regarding legal issues and proceedings.

- Support the General Counsel in day-to-day legal operations and administrative tasks.

- Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field.

- Certification from an accredited paralegal program preferred.

- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a paralegal

- Knowledge of Unlawful Detainer procedures and real estate law.

- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

- Proficient in legal research and legal document management.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
