Litigation Attorney (Full-Time, Hybrid)
We are hiring a full-time associate attorney who is available to start immediately. We also have an opening for a managing attorney with a higher starting base salary. Both positions are expected to be involved with trials. Our civil litigation firm focuses mainly on plaintiff's side personal injury and employment cases.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for representing people in their moment of need. Below are some of the other characteristics we look for in our ideal candidate:
Demonstrated interest in litigation through past work experience, involvement in plaintiff's bar associations, and viewing case proceedings such as depositions, hearings, and trials
Self-motivated to seek out assignments and offers suggestions
Good organizational skills in providing regular updates on case assignments
Compassionate, empathetic, and patient with potential clients and established clients
Responsive, well-spoken, and articulate in communicating with team members, clients, opposing counsel, and the court. This includes being responsive to questions and respecting other people's time by crafting concise and informative emails.
Critical-thinker in providing solutions to difficult situations
Loves to learn about legal matters and our clients' lives
Works well in a team, is open to collaboration and critique, and wants to help others succeed
Proficient in the use of Google Drive, Dropbox, and PowerPoint
Our primary office is in Santa Ana, with other office spaces available in Torrance and Downtown Los Angeles. You will be expected to work remotely, though you must be available to attend court hearings, meet with clients, or meet in-person with other team members on an as-needed basis several times per month.
