Solo immigration attorney with 20+ years of experience in immigration law (mainly in removal defense and family-based immigration) seeking to fill the following roles:
INTERN: for individuals with no law office experience, who seek knowledge and skills in immigration law, especially in removal defense (representing undocumented persons fighting deportation) and family-based immigration. This is an ideal opportunity for those who wish to apply for legal assistant and paralegal roles and/or apply for law school. No formal pay, but a nominal daily stipend ($15-$30 per DAY) is provided.
LEGAL ASSISTANT: for individuals with previous immigration law office experience (up to 2 years). Compensation would range $19-$22 per hour, plus benefits, depending on skills and experience.
EXPERIENCED PARALEGAL: for individuals with significant immigration law office experience (minimum 3 years) and who have handled EOIR (I-589 and EOIR-42B) and USCIS (I-130, I-485. U Visa, etc.) cases and clients effectively, with minimal supervision. Compensation would range $23-$30 per hour, plus benefits, depending on skills and experience.
