Himizu Modern Japanese Fusion is a modern Japanese BBQ and Sushi concept that is looking to hire sushi chefs to join our team for our evening shifts. Our shifts are from Tuesday-Sunday 2:00 PM until 11 PM so we are looking for individuals who can work within those days (including weekends).
We are currently looking for Sushi Chefs with the following qualities below:
Sushi Chef:
Job type: Full time/ Part time
Qualifications:
- Sushi expertise: previous experience/knowledge as a sushi chef is a must with a strong understanding of sushi preparation techniques and sushi presentation (fish preparation, etc…)
- Exceptional knife skills and the ability to handle delicate fish and seafood
- Knowledge of various Japanese dishes and culture since sushi is considered an art form
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with other staff members
