We are seeking an experienced Full time bookkeeper with a strong work ethic and background in QuickBooks and accounting to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in QuickBooks.
Responsibilities
Maintain and record financial transactions using QuickBooks Desktop and Online
Perform bank account reconciliations and analyze tax reporting agency notices
Research and summarize tax laws; respond to inquiries from tax authorities
Communicate professionally via phone, email and in person with clients
Schedule appointments, handle outbound calls and greet visiting clients
Carry out administrative duties (filing, scanning, copying, correspondence, etc.)
Ensure confidentiality and high quality customer service
Potential to support tax preparation and business
Qualifications
Proficiency in Bookkeeping and QuickBooks (required)
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word (required)
Experience With Lacerte tax software (a plus)
Ability to review and prepare business financial statements
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to multitask
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self Starter with the ability to work independently while contributing to team goals
Dependable and punctual with a professional attitude and appearance
Interest in tax preparation encouraged with potential for training
Must pass a background check
